This shot is the result of testing the wireless capabilities using the Nikon Creative Lighting System (CLS). The D200 was set as the master without the on-board flash firing and it was controlling an SB-800 and SB-600 whilst retaining ful iTTL.

This was taken at Harlow RFC when they were playing Welwyn in a hard fought local match which I was covering for Herts & Essex Newspapers.

I spotted this ladybird drying out after a shower and thought the drop added a different dimension. You can also notice the very limited depth of field which is always present in macro shots.

First ever blog post! Following some wet and windy weather I was itching to get out and take some photographs and finally the sun came out. I headed toward Latchford an area near our village in North East Hertfordshire but typically as soon as I got there the weather started to turn for the worse. I spotted this tree and thought it would make a good black and white subject.
